Glass
The glass in Renewal by Andersen factory-glazed windows is warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for 20 years following the original installation date. If glass failure is proven to be caused by a defect under these conditions within the limited warranty period, Renewal by Andersen will install an appropriate replacement glass or provide a factory-authorized repair to the existing glass. The service is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Fibrex® Material
The Fibrex® material components, such as the frame and sash, of your windows are warranted not to flake, crack or corrode and be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for a period of 20 years from the installation date. If faults are discovered within the warranty period, Renewal by Andersen will provide an appropriate repair or replacement service which will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Components Other Than Glass
The non-glass parts of your energy-efficient windows from Renewal by Andersen are also warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship. Some examples of non-glass components are locks, lifts, hinges, weatherstripping and balance systems. This coverage lasts for a period of 10 years from the date of installation. Renewal by Andersen will provide appropriate repair or replacement once faults aligning to the conditions are discovered within the warranty period. The service will be warranted for the remainder of the original limited warranty period.
Exterior Color Finish
The color finish on the Fibrex® material exterior components on windows is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects resulting in color fade greater than 5 delta-e for a period of 10 years from the original installation date. This warranty does not cover weatherstripping, accessories, exterior trim profiles and exterior aluminum coil stock. If a defect is discovered during the warranty period, Renewal by Andersen will refinish, repair or replace the product. Such replacement or repair is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Installation
Installation of your Renewal by Andersen windows is warranted for a period of two years following the date of the original installation. Renewal by Andersen will bring the workmanship up to professional standards, at no cost to you, if your window fails to perform due to improper original installation.
